Some photos -- a backlog

Our living room and desk workspace (the BCS office, Old Growth Arts headquarters, and music recording studio)

Our kitchen, which now has a dishwasher                    Jackson and me on the patio

Jackson surveying the scene from our bedroom window (our bedroom was too messy to photograph)

Nothing in Abu Dhabi is old. These photos are from an abandoned fishing village in Ras Al Khaima, where we went on our road trip at the end of May.

    Rose and John,
How lovely to get to see photos of you two, with the third still disguised! And of Jackson, so calm, so serene; king of all he surveys. It's nice to picture you all in your apartment, and in your new habitat. When is the due date for your little one? More newness in Abu Dhabi! Can the baby have dual citizenship?
Gabe and I head to California on Aug 5, with Olivia following on the 9th, and Maria and Alex on the 16th. Any hot weather tips to share with us(Besides jumping into the lake)?

Your stories are fabulous, Rose. I want to tell one about Diamond Face, the mother cat you saw having her kittens. That time it was easy. The first time she had kittens she insisted on trying to have her kittens in bed with me and Jock. I brought her box with it's towel and padding and put it right next to the bed. No go, she wanted to be in the bed, purring next to me. After trying the box several times I finally put a couple towels on the sheet next to me and let her be. Presently she had the first one and I put it in the box. That time she got it, of course, and delivered the rest of the family. Dear Diamond Face.
Rose, your instinct and intuition will hold you strong.
    Love you xoxo,
    Sande
