A song by John

When he wasn't cooking for us or changing diapers, John was recording this song:

Ali's Lament for Cameron Diaz (Supernova of the Laundromat)

Download | Duration: 00:03:38

John says: "This song is inspired by a Pakistani guy I know who works at a laundry shop in Abu Dhabi. He's in love with an American customer. He thinks she looks like Cameron Diaz, so he labels her garment bags 'Camron.' He started sending her lovelorn text messages a couple of weeks ago. He works 15 hours a day and sleeps in his shop."

Not bad at all. Is there a Grandaddy song this reminds me of? And did you ever write anything about the folks behind the deli counter at the Fed?

Inspired indeed. I can feel the leap of his heart as she walks in. Feeling very emotional this evening as I've just watched 'the kite runner' so the taste of sour pomegranate juice and sweet farsi is on my lips.
Have of course read birth story too. It is a story of courage and strength. with love -

That’s first rate. I like whatever you’ve done to process your voice. When’s the album coming out? Or at least an EP. Your fans demand it.
