Adriana and Pete's baby girl was born this morning! Just an hour ago. I just talked to Mom and don't know anything else. John and I are so excited and happy! I will post photos once I get my hands on them.

Iola's family is growing so quickly! First Habeeb became her brother, and now she has a little cousin-sister.

John is at the Oil Baron's Ball in Dubai; Dan Engber is in mid-air; Peter Baker is helping me clean the house; Jackson is snoozing on his chair, Iola is asleep. I don't know if I have the focus to mop the floor right now.

Sleep training update: Iola did sleep for 8 straight hours last night, but not the particular 8 hours that I would have preferred. She slept from 7pm to 3am; I didn't have the heart to wake her at 11pm like I'm supposed to. She was so tired! I must have been bio-synthesizing caffeine in my breast milk yesterday. She had only napped for one hour all day, after staying up complaining for 3 hours the night before.  The thing is, neither of us were sleepy. I passed her off to John and still couldn't get a wink of sleep... so wound up thinking about Adriana.

Who now gets to rest and recover. For a bit.
