Napping buddies
Iola's 15.5 pounds are distributed evenly along 25 inches, from her heavy head to her chubby little toes; Jackson carries it all in his stomach. He's still the more graceful one!
These photos were taken with my cell phone. The three of us were napping on the couch together. I didn't realize until I woke up how cute they were, lying back to back.

Nathan Deuel is here, en route from Riyadh to New York and Illinois, where he'll meet up with Kelly and family. We're sad not to be going home for Christmas, to see Adriana and Pete's Gwendolyn, and to introduce Iola to her aunts. But this beautiful winter weather is so precious. We need to spend every weekend camping, sitting on the beach and at outdoor cafes before it gets steamy and unbearable again in the spring.

Ahhhhh, ahhhhh. Gabe and I love these photos of Iola and Jackson. They both are so gorgeous and cuddly looking. Give them both kisses and hugs from us. I loved hearing about and seeing photos of your camping. Does is get so hot in the mid-day that you stay in your tent until the late afternoon?

So far we've only done overnights where we get back in the car in the middle of the day and go to the next place, or go home. The tent would be too hot too... Tomorrow may be the test. Even the middle of the day is getting better now though. Love to you both!
