There's a lot of heartache about being so far away. I called Mira and Sunita in Pune to assuage it, started coordinating a visit to Delhi in late January... In addition to the solace of being with family, there is nowhere in Abu Dhabi that does an adequate aloo tikki.

I am so delighted to have a grand-niece named Iola! Her great-grandmother and namesake is also delighted, although her delight is in Heaven! God's blessings upon Iola and her parents John and Rose. May your stay in Abu Dhabi be everything you want it to be, and let us know as soon as you will be coming home so we can meet darling Iola.
