Today

People say these months are the golden age of babyhood, and this is why:

                        
Got some errands done (Gulf News office to pay for classified ad, post office); now Nathan and John are grilling a kingfish on the patio.

A new little Dakin cousin was born today, the son of Sam and Skye!

There's a lot of heartache about being so far away. I called Mira and Sunita in Pune to assuage it, started coordinating a visit to Delhi in late January... In addition to the solace of being with family, there is nowhere in Abu Dhabi that does an adequate aloo tikki.
